The device type is a cellular network router, designed for industrial applications with a robust black housing made from aluminium and plastic. It supports dual-SIM cellular connectivity across 2G, 3G, and 4G networks, and includes Wi-Fi capabilities compliant with 802.11b, 802.11g, and Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) standards. The Ethernet LAN interface operates at Fast Ethernet speeds up to 100 Mbit/s, adhering to IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.3u networking standards. This router features serial communication interfaces, including RS-232 and RS-485, allowing for the integration of a wide range of devices, including legacy equipment. It is equipped with both digital and analog inputs/outputs, which, combined with the advanced RUTOS software, enable sophisticated control, automation, and event notification capabilities. Additional functionalities include automatic WAN failover to maintain uptime in the event of primary connection loss, and GNSS capabilities for location-based services. The router supports a variety of industrial software features such as Modbus, SNMP, TR-069, NTRIP, MQTT, and multiple VPNs, making it a versatile component in any industrial network setup.
